Christmas Time At The Chancehold (Part Deux)

We decided it best to go ahead and exchange Christmas gifts Thursday evening, mostly because we just couldn't stand not having them opened any longer. It was quite a pleasant evening and we received one another's gifts with an equanimity and inquisitiveness that could rival even that of the staunchest mountain yak.

Gingerbread House Hullabaloo

We were out at the store a couple of nights ago and found this gingerbread house kit for $10 which of course we had to buy. We broke it out tonight and made quite the spectacular little specimen.

Well if those just aren't the best fondant shingle-gutter-roofings I have ever seen.

We were supposed to have a gingerbread man, a snowman and a christmas tree, but the tree ended up in Nathan's stomach.

Well it's that time again. Time for joy and time for cheer. Time for some Chance family tradition: a few cinnamon rolls, some mango punch, and National Lampoon's Christmas vacation. And even a little tree decoratin'.

Step 1: Add da' awesome tree skirt from TJ Maxx.

Step 2: Add da' lights... And change into some more comfortable clothes.

Step 3: Add da' ribbon.

Step 4: Add da' bow. Carrie wants either to study how the Grand Canyon was formed and make her own or start a bow making business. Either one would suit her.
